Is Archaelogy botting viable for leveling still?

Been a long time since I've leveled using this method - is it still viable? Is it still the preferred most effective/safest method?

If not, what are the best options for leveling solo via botting?

Battle Chest 5 through dungeons and with the XP bonus. Pretty sure that's the fastest way atm.

it's possible but it's a long time ago that I have heard somebody talk about it.
but the fasted method is still 5 man dungeon RAF

I used it to level one of my rogues as a tester and it wasnt exactly fast but I made quite a bit of extra gold from selling the battle pets I got I went from 70-80 in 24 hours of botting. It kind of sucks when you try to do anything else cuz your gear isnt up to date but I enjoyed opening my bags after a session and seeing 3 rare pets in there.

yea I sometimes forget that you get some gold with doing this method.
but I'm not sure if archeology is a safer way to bot than questing>

Honestly I dont think ive done it for long enough to make a determination if it is safe or not. I just know that i never get any whispers and im always switching zones so even if someone was "tracking" me they wouldnt see me sitting in the same zone for 12 hours a day.

I am curious about doing 5 man RAF dungeons, but where do you guys buy battle chests ? $20 each is the normal price and thats a bit steep for me.

if you search or check around the latest topics there is one with a link that allows you to buy it for 5$ but its a direct account upgrade.
