Have you guys sent a really long text explaining how you didn't think Wiz teleport skill was forbidden? Or that your dog has a farming complex or, or...


What are your experiences with appeals for permanent ACCOUNT CLOSURES? (As i'm doing my first one today and have the innocent hope of success)
Has any of you had success with it or is it merely customer manipulation bullshit?

Also, if you had any success please post the method you used to appeal (phone, tickets)

To be honest, I have never heard of anyone who used bot at any point in their account (regardless how long) succeeding in an appeal.

I've succeeded after having 20 accounts banned.

I appealed all and they unbanned ONE account.

It was re-banned 2 weeks later.

I told them i rescued 20 stray dogs that farm MP10. They were like, if we had known that, we wouldn't have banned you in the first place.

They unbanned the dogs accounts but said the one played by my cat wasn't allowed, so it's still banned.

Just adding my 2c, appeals are worthless. One of my WoW accounts was from 2004, hundreds of hours of real playing time, achievements, etc, and it became a bot account in 2012. About 6 months later it was banned for 'gold farm abuse' or whatever. All I did was mine for a few hours a day, did not flood the AH, and also played pvp on it sometimes. Despite the fact that this was a first offense on the account in 8 years, they would not unban it. I appealed with a nice song and dance about how my latency was poor and I was connecting through a pr0xy service and how I thought maybe someone else got my account somehow and was really sorry. It was "escalated" in appeal status and denied.

Don't ever bot an account you are not willing to lose. Anyone who says they've ever been unbanned for botting in any way on WoW or D3 is full of shit.

Getting unbanned in WoW is easy, the majority of people who have posted here get it reverted to a 72 hour. I've never seen anyone get unbanned on D3 tho.

I was banned on WOW for using 3rd party program to walk through objects, and said I had a skill as a shaman that I could walk on water its not a hack. they sent me a new email saying they gave the the wrong reason it was for using 3rd party software like a bot.

if you cant get unbanned in wow you have issues. i have successfully appealed my wow account 4 times. but d3, no chance.
