Is an endgame Arcane CC needed?

Im looking to make an Arcane CC for endgame raiding/dungeons, is it needed? Any advice on optimising dps in a CC?

most people doing end game, are using lazyraider or combat bot, if thats the case, just use Likwid's Arcane Mage

First of all, I was told (asked) to respec Fire, as Arcane is low DPS opposed to Fire (thought I was doing fine, but ok), and Frost is for PvP only.
Second; I've never heard of Likwid's Arcane Mage so I'm going to check that out
Always used Amplify or CLU.
