hey i just got scammed for gold and i tried getting it back but the investigation said that there was no account compromise i have heard of something like an ip tunnel that makes it look like your accounts were logged in somewhere else? can someone please linnk?

connecting through an IP tunnel after you have already lost the gold is not going to change a single thing

but i would like to prevent this from happening again. and also if accounts get banned i can get them back. can anyone help me out?

use other foreign IP (china or something), change your account password. Then send an email to blizzard say something blah blah your account got hacked a week ago. Dont login about 1 day or just use foreign IP to play. Wait blizzard locked your account and require verification. Send them identification via email, profit.

IP tunneling often bypasses simple firewall rules transparently since the specific nature and addressing of the original datagrams are hidden.
Imo, go with proxy
