after boting on my main account i ve seen something what really scared me

i was farming dark iron ore in brd

since i had no idea how and where they spawn i checked wowhead
http://www.wowhead.com/object=165658/dark-iron-deposit

i can confirm that the locations in BRD are true and since this ore was mined over 75k times i doubt that they miss any locations

after farming the instance 3-4 times per hand i made a profile and then i seen the bot is runing to an invisible node and trying to mine it. i ve stoped him and did not finished the cast to mine it

so here we go:

my position was X="503.613" Y="-188.9336" Z="-59.25692"
the ores position was X="502.7941" Y="-191.5217" Z="-57.51442"
distance was something between 2 or 3 yards

since -59 < -57 (z coordinate) the ore would be 2 yards in the air

the ore was invisible and was not on the minimap and not in wowhead. it had the same npc id as the other nodes.
it has no colision and was in range from my spot, but i could not interact with it (only the bot)

i tryed to relog and reload multiple times

when i reloged i nticed the node for 0,1 sec on the minmap

would you call me paranoid or how to explain this

WoW bug. Nothing new.
Some may say that its deliberately put there...

There is tons of invisible (with transparent textures, with no textures at all or probably placed underground, so they are visually not seen) interact objects in the game world. Both resources and lootable quest objects.

We can only speculate if Blizzard do use them in their favor to track/flag/label bots, hacks, anything.

I doubt we will ever have any solid proof regarding these.

As the others stated, issues like this have been around for a while.

You'd be best to blackspot the location.
If you're using InteractWith to farm them, then be sure to add IgnoreMobsInBlackspots="true" to have it completely ignored.

If you're relying on the bot to mine without using any direct behavior in the profile - then I'm not 100% sure that a just a blackspot alone would have the ore avoided.
