Fellow Botters,
We will be performing a maintenance in our server infrastructure on 25 Sep 2015 between 07:00AM and 10:00AM UTC for the introduction of new region system.
We are splitting our server infrastructure to the following regions
With this change, bot keys will be usable on only one region at any given time. You will be able to change which region your key is bound to any time and as many times as you want through the auth portals. Changing the region of a key will cause your sessions on other regions to be invalidated. All our bots will have new versions deployed which will have a region selection in the login window that will let you choose the region you want to connect to. Your keys will automatically get bound to the first region that you use them on.
The reason behind doing this is solely to give everybody the best experience they can get from our services. Right now, we have to maintain replication of data among all auth servers all over the world in real time. However, this is becoming harder day by day as our user base grows. By isolating our servers to regions, we will reduce the load of the data that needs to be replicated and will be able to perform at local speeds
