So i run 4 bots on my laptop right. I used to close my laptop every time i would leave it, and come back to at least one crashed d3. The weird thing is that ever since i leave my laptop screen open, even though it still goes to sleep just as if the lid was closed, no crashes. I just left my laptop open overnight, no crashes on any of the bots. First time ive actually been "legit" 24/7 in a while. give it a try.

mine always open, and WD always crashes, Monk, Barb and DH almost never crashes.

DB running with no crash depends on luck i think :) but it works so i live with it.

i still getting crashes on my bots even with screen open, running 2 bots on laptop, sometimes i get client closed (no response) on my background bot, weird thing

change laptop settings in power management to not go to sleep on laptop close.

The crashes may have to do with settings other than sleep. Depending on the laptop, when it goes in to sleep mode, the hard drives might be trying to spin down or it might even be trying to go so far s to hibernate.

I run on a desktop, but I would think similar settings for a laptop might help, I only let my display go to sleep, everything else stays running for db

Only difference should just be hardware since u can just change sleep/power settings just like a desktop. I bot on my laptop just fine and it never goes to sleep while the game is running. Also that is another thing, if your game is running then technically it can't go to sleep or at least it shouldn't since its still using the computer/hd. I have mine set to sleep at an hour or so and only does if the game or bot fully crashes otherwise it will just keep running.
