Interesting Ban Situation

So I got banned a couple days ago.

I farm up about 5-8k a day on a high population server and then sell it to private buyers. I always trade in 20, 25, or 30k lots. Never more, never less. I sell all raw ore on the AH and all herbs turned into something else (flasks, pots, etc).

After farming and selling about 4-5 lots of gold, I got banned for selling gold. I've heard many theories, but for 20-30k being given between 2 85's, how am I getting busted? I would think if I was being turned in for botting, I'd be banned for 3rd party programs. Am I wrong in assuming that? I just sell a little here and there on 1 server, so this isn't something I specifically depend on. I can always go back to farming gold for myself. I'm just curious if anyone has any good input.

I farm 1 toon about 16-20 hours a day. I've never had a nasty whisper from anyone regarding botting.

They saying in the email they busted you for selling gold doesn't necessarily mean they banned you for that.
Those were actually the last mails I got and when I ticketed saying I never sold gold they told me they actually banned me for botting.

The email is just whatever the GM that busted you felt like sending.

Simple, you got busted for selling gold. It actually issn't that hard to detect you know, just ask yourself this question, Who the hell in the right mind would trade someone 30k in gold, who have close to zero past interaction and get nothing in return? There you have your answer
