Instant leave - I've been curious about this for a while. Is it safe to use?

Noticed a quote over at the A5 chest runs about this being easy to detect but I still see it in active use on many highly regarded profiles so a clarification on this would be nice.

It is orders of magnitudes unsafer then just botting. You are essentially doing something that is impossible to do as a regular player. Also, since a bug like this has ramifications not only for GPH but HC survive-ability the likelihood of Blizzard looking for this exact technique is very high. Dumping the game like the instant leave exploit does is a good get out of jail free card for HC players.

Im certainly no authority in this forum but if you read the script, you can find out that it tries to call a skill that doesn't exist, which causes the servers to close the session immediately. And like the captn said, this is EASY to detect and since it can only be used by tempering with the games memory (thats how DB controls the game) it is instantly bannable.

I have been running the same Insta leave profile for over 1 month. The only break that I took was to salvage the useless legs and then resume bot. Not saying that what everyone is saying is false. But just trying to shine light on the subject. There are A LOT and I mean A LOT of people playing this game at any given time. The chances of them singling you out is very unlikely yet very likely.

The conclusion is quite simple: Bot at your own risk because you are stepping into grounds where bans can happen without expecting it.

not a DB support issue
