Installing honorbuddy update and get 0x80070643 - fatal error during install

dont use the installer.
Download the latest version of honorbuddy.
http://updates.buddyauth.com/GetNewest?filter=Honorbuddy
Then do a clean install into a new folder. Do not reinstall over a previous installation or move items from the old installation into the new one.

That's what i downloaded but when i open Honorbuddy it opens straight to it and does not ask for a login. Only option available is buddy store.

If my harddrive in my other laptop would not of crashed i would not be going though all this on my back up laptop....
just can't seem to figure this one out. I'm stumped........ Been trying to figure it out for couple days.

Says Object already exist, Then i received the same error code as for what i got with Honorbuddy!

Go to Programs and Features, in your windows Control panel.
Look for:
- microsoft .net framework 4 client profile
- microsoft .net framework 4 extended
- microsoft .net framework 4.5.1
- microsoft visual c++ 2010 x86 redistributable
- microsoft visual c++ 2012 x86 redistributable


and Uninstall them if they are installed.
Restart your PC.

run both as administrator.
after the both installs are completed, run windows update. And install all updates for .net & c++
Then do one last restart.

The only available program i had to remove from the list you gave me was - microsoft .net framework 4.5.1, i removed it.
- microsoft visual c++ 2005 redistributable (x64)
- microsoft visual c++ 2005 redistributable (x64)
- microsoft visual c++ 2008 redistributable-x64 9.0.30729.6161
are the programs i have.

when i got to the second step, I installed it installed the buddy program fine and when i clicked on program i had 2 green check marks but the program was not responding.

Tried to install the .net and when i did i got an error message of Fatal error during installation.

Everytime I turn my laptop on now i get an error message about it not have .net, restoring to previous point, it wont allow me to do windows update

the only thing i can really suggest at this point is to reinstall windows, since theres something majorly going on with your windows installation.
