Installed DB for the first time... having issues

Hello,

Trying to sort out an issue with running DB for the first time. Followed the general instructions for installing and opening DB provided in the manual and when I put in my key upon opening DB, the client freezes up and closes. From here, I tried running the 'Demonbuddy dependency installer' and it just runs without further activity. I also tried the 'BuddyWizard' and it says its installing VC++ 2012, but after an hour... it's still installing. What am I doing wrong?

Any help or advice with be greatly appreciated!

remove:
- microsoft .net framework 4 client profile
- microsoft .net framework 4 extended
- microsoft visual c++ 2010 x86 redistributable
- microsoft visual c++ 2012 x86 redistributable


restart your pc,
download the installationwizard from https://www.thebuddyforum.com/BuddyWizard.exe and http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...redist_x86.exe
run them as administrator.
after the wizard and Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 installation is done, run windows update. And install all updates for .net & c++
restart
