A possibility has come forward on how blizzard caught all the people with honorbuddy.

I have a friend who is highly involved in information securities for a large company. His computer is very well protected and logged. There was an attempt by blizzards software to scan his hard drive on the week which the token was released. (HB user and not banned, through isolating the hard drive which honor buddy was on and only hooking it up to use it) It seems that Blizzard is using their clause they are "allowed to search for programs that change the integrity of their proprietary software." However, this does not give them the right to examine the entire contents of your hard drive, only their game. With that being said.. what are we going to do about it.. NOT A DAMN THING.. there's nothing we can do. Blizzard owns their intellectual property and can ban anyone without proof of anything at any time. They could shut the whole thing down and not tell you why. The URLA is to protect them, not the end user. Unless someone knows a high power attorney that is willing to take a case for free and fight a multi-billion dollar company for "illegally" searching our hard drives.. we aren't going to see anything happen. Data mining for the lose. Welcome to big brother videogame style

Good luck, see you on the next MMO.

Also I got banned for "exploitation of the economy" using an AH bot
