Hey guys, got question for you.
I ued demonbuddy quite a lot in Diablo 3, before RoS.
And never got banned, I survived through any ban waves etc
I was just botting with one character.
And now I want come back to Diablo, I just won't bot this time. I just wanna play D3 RoS.
And there's question - Can I get banned now? For botting in Diablo 3 before RoS was released? Or I'm completely safe?
 
Yes, you can still be banned for botting long ago. Probably not going to happen, but the possibility exists.
 
I'd just start a brand new account and not bot. If there ever is a ban wave, then try logging in your old acct, if it's not banned then you could probably be good to use it?
 
It is VERY unlikely that they will ban you for botted before ROS if you don't bot in ROS.
At diablos current state with all the 'bind of account', it's pretty much a single player game and blizz dont care much about botting. I see people tend to be banned are people botting many accounts on the same computer. I just bot for personal use, when I get too sick of rifts etc.
Ofc this is just pure speculation and my own opinion :)
 
If you haven't been banned yet and you haven't botted in months it's probably safe to say your account is safe.
 
If you didn't get banned in D3V that means they didn't catch you. i.e. didn't know you botted.

You are not gonna get banned now, not a chance.
 
If we are ban for botting, we are just ban for D3 or battle.net ?
