I'm curious about the future of toNyx plugins.

First, sorry about my English. It's not my language.
So, I'm a user of all toNyx plugins and I really like them. The plugins that come on EB by default can't do the same, or even close, on what toNyx plugins can do. As example, the FlaskHelper that allows us to use many kind of flasks instead only hp/mana ones from default EB flask plugin. Don't need talk about the other great plugins from toNyx because we already know how important and good they are.
I'm curious because, unfortunately, as we saw on his latest posts, he seems busy and can't continue updating his plugins and I see no one commenting anything about it. Sorry if I'm missing something but I really would like to know what's going to happen from now on. Will someone (or more people) from EB community work on those plugins to update/improve them? Or will the developers do it? If not, will be there some "new" plugins made to replace toNyx ones and be default on EB?
Again, sorry if there a post already made regarding to this subject and a solution for that is taken, but I'm really worried if nothing is going to happen - no updates or no new plugins to replace those from toNyx.

I believe I saw tony saying that he will update the profiles so that they work with buddy updates if needed but he won't be adding new features and the plugins will remain as they are now in terms of functionality and features.

The idea is simple, I will be way less active on this forum, lack of time but still I have my farm up, so if plugins need adjustments, I'll do them, but that's it. Sources are here to allow people to build a VS project off it, to add features or even take it over. Glad to see those plugins were useful for peeps, that's the effect they aimed for.

Had a lot of stress before this announcement, wanted to cut off a bit with the dev part of me, and this warning I took for a wonderful troll post was the way to release the kraken.

Buddy policies went a bit too far for me, since the EB shutdown announcement (which I totally understand) and the motivation faded... like a rollercoaster. I mean I've spent lot of time on plugins, helping peeps, providing snippets, took me time more than ever to get my farm back up again because of all these factors, 99.9% of what ive done on this forum was legit, and lot of stuff happened IRL which triggered the alarm.

Not sure but I think a buddystore wouldve changed my mind, but I can understand that the stability of the bot is important for it, PoE is not the good game for a buddystore.
People were asking me "why those plugins changes, it makes the plugins harder to use!" because of the generic stuff, wanted to release something that could go through patches without any maintenance, probably the best thing Ive done.

From now on I focus on my job and the things that floats around it, maybe one day I'll decide to come back in buddy communities, but for now I'm just pissed.

So don't worry, my plugins will still work if I need them, after that, who knows

tbh tony is one of the nicest guys i've seen come around here along with tormiasz and not just because they make extremely useful plugins but because they actually do help if asked as well. Idk what happened with tony's warn or whatever but tbh let me spell it out for who's missing this point: THIS BOT IS MAKING MORE MONEY BECAUSE OF THEM AND PEOPLE LIKE THEM. Without their plugins the bot would be total crap and not worth even 5 euros per month. If it was me, I would give them at least a symbolic amount of money from the bot because honestly they do deserve it.

But things have long stopped being guided by decency and common sense when it comes to work and reward.

Anyway I don't really spend much time anymore telling people's what's what or my opinion etc because these days honestly no one gives a shit and nothing will change, but in this case I thought I'd say a few words because I feel they deserve at least that much. So personally I'd like to thank tony for everything he's done for this bot out of his own free will, and I'm sure many other people feel the same way =)

I wasn't even talking about users donating, if you actually read. You think it's not decent for buddy team to give some money to devs even if just a little to at least show them that they are valued? We're not talking about big bucks salaries but these plugins actually do make a huge difference for the end product, which btw almost got killed because of shitty management and bossland not caring about making some (rather simple) plugins to make the bot worthwhile for all end-users not just coders.

If you feel it's bullshit to donate don't, but between that and telling people who do donate that they are ppl not worth being helped or appreciated? lol? And WTF does rmt have to do with donating, do you even logic? If I make say 5k $ I can't donate because what, principle?, I'm too cool to give the people making it easier some money for their continued benefit and thus my own as well? The fact that you can code your own shit doesn't mean you get to talk out of your bum, because the bot itself WILL DIE if end users are not happy with it and MOST people can't code, and without their money bye bye bot, aka bye bye your bot as well, so either you want the bot to die or you just like to see things burn ey?

Fighting aside, i really do hope you find new inspiration in maintaining your work toNyx, and not just you but all developers because without ppl contributing to the development of projects would mean this bot is dead, just like any other product from buddy team the bot itself is a shell and all these awesome plugins are addons to that shells and that makes this bot so desirable to the customer.
But also i do understand, this was a hobby, a hobby that take hours and hours to maintain and perfect, and at some point in life you just don't have that amount of time, energy or something else to justify the investment to yourself.
Guess we will see when the bot gets updated where we stand with the bot and how much time will it take to get everything sorted out.
