Don't ask me to help with them. Theres too many CC devs here that never update, give their project to someone else, then show back up and complain.

People have been begging for something then all the sudden someone who never posts comes around claiming ownership after giving his project to someone else.

Next time Bobby just ask me to remove it instead of going QQ'in to the mods. Grow up and act like a man or woman that is capable of generating intelligent discussion instead of bothering devs first and talk to someone. They have better things to do than to listen to someone whine about something I would've been happy to remove.
 
I'm simply tired of some of the people who rarely do anything around here acting like school yard children trying to be the first to run and tell the teacher, about something that could've been resolved by a simple PM. Then other devs that act like everyone else is stupid, they snap on them, and tell them they are stupid for making a simple suggestion.... Just seems a lot of the user base here needs to grow up.

My point being instead of bothering Hawker, he could've just sent me a PM. I've been here for THREE months. I've NEVER seen that guy post anything significant. As far as I've been told xvampx was now doing that CC. Then one day he just shows up out of no where and goes running to the admins on me instead of trying to resolve it himself. Its not how a responsible adult acts. Its not how xvampx acts either, I've suggested stuff that was added to the old version. But since there was no new version posted no one could even ask or suggest anything about it.

This kind of stuff constantly goes on with only a few of the plugin/CC devs. Not updating something in forever then getting mad when someone else does it for themselves, then others find out and beg for it. But whatever. I've got my auto logout on level/time of day/ or time played finished and working now. I've got a working relogger. Almost all custom profiles now. So I'm going to just stop helping with ANYTHING that anyone else makes. Tired of dealing with the problems it causes for not even gratitude most of the time.

Its getting to be where I don't like being here anymore Tony. No one handles their own problems. They just go whine to someone else. Or they call me stupid publicly, then after they show off the post to some people they edit that part out, and its not just one dev. You have several that develop more than they can support, don't ever do updates unless it completely doesn't work, and are generally EXTREMELY rude in their posts of their CC's.

If they are going to be considered developers they should be held to a higher standard than the normal users. Sure they should be able to put instructions in their post. But theres no reason for them to act like a prick.

Anyways... Thats just another class I won't be playing anymore. I refuse to give a developer that acts like that even 1 download count from myself.

Well since I'm in closed beta for The ONE I have another shaman cc now anyways, but yeah. On principle I don't use CC's from people that I know are going to be a dick if I suggest something.

But don't let people get to you:), think you take it a bit to personal.

Just be here do what you like enjoy the bits and pieces you want and ignore the unthankfull people easy as mate.
 
One time I solved the rubik's cube in class (the 4x4x4), everyone was amazed... but after 2 months nobody cared.


Point being, and the sad truth... coders are ALWAYS under appreciated, much like smart people.


Do you think the people who bought their phones care that some scientist invented it? Nope.

I don't mean to be rude, but you need to realize the world doesn't revolve around you, and you should be going all emo just because people are stealing your work. You're the only one who can update it correctly.

What pisses me off the most is the CC he's claiming ownership of someone else has been coding since I've been here, and not only that it has contributions I made in it. Small as they may be, if he's not totally rewriting it I want my contributions removed and reverted back to an older version. I don't contribute to people who act like children.
 
Link has been removed from that forum now. If you want a ShamWOW with no totems or the ability to turn off ghostwolf, go PM the original author, tho I doubt he'll actually do anything for you.

I know that line is directed at me. I have 3 CCs yes, but I do have a life outside of HB, and so far no one has focused on developing their own CCs that I do. My thread has rules, has since I posted my very first CC. The rules are straight forward and to the point. I typically get rude when someone complains about things but offers for insight to what could be wrong. Thats about it.
