I have a new account created 12/28/2015 banned. Botted only 6-8hrs per day (leveling). Some garrison bot for 1 toon(level 100) doing garrison dailies. Most of the time I am watching the toon leveling on its own while doing some work at home because I am amaze and its cool to see it level up without you doing in front of the pc and I have LogMeOut plugin when it gets stucks, died 3 times or followed by player etc. notifies you and beeps sound. I always do safe botting as per forums advise and using the bot. I wish I played wow 5 years ago that HB is not detected, I just played it like 1 year. 1 account banned last december and this new account banned also.

Last update from HB dev said that bliz have some kind of detection in wow client that detects any injection. And HB dev said they done some changes on HB codes to avoid any detections from last tripwire event. I will probably stop playing wow for now and just a lurker into this forum. I will be back once HB is same just like 5 years ago.

Same. I caught a 6month case mid december, said #notagain; it was my 5th or 6th personal account to get banned so I'm really past it at this point. I've been getting the itch again so now I'm tossing about it.

I'm looking for a cheap bchest link (even though the cost doesn't honestly matter); I'll keep reading the forums, browsing wow forums, checking to see what razer gear there is and wondering if its worth starting again or just waiting or if this really all matters

I don't think it is worth coming back. With Blizzard in the gold selling business, they now have a huge financial motivation to ensure bots are caught and banned. Maybe I am not giving the honorbuddy team enough credit or perhaps giving the blizzard team too much credit, but I think the days of relative safety in botting are behind us.

Honestly; I'd keep it light and wouldn't be farming gold; as long as they don't ban every month I can believe.

You thought it was safe to bot? Safe botting was over in May 2015 and then confirmed in December 2015 and you just realize now with the new smaller banwave.
Least HB were kind enough and honest enough to let us know that tripwire failed in December and late last month found out what caused those 2 previous banwaves and informed us possibly most people online during tripwire were flagged for ban, I personally was on and not banned but most seem to be. Give them some credit going forward from this, they didn't bother taking auth down since they seem confident about this if not it would be offline.

I don't think gold selling is a major point either repeating over and over in most threads related to this, tbh pvp battlegrounds/arenas is more of an vocal point with countless streams hunting people, qq and the wow forums is full of it daily. I will admit it's not all HB but to the average WOW player it is all HB so that leaves them NO 1 bad guy. Also the court action is another major driving point.

If you gonna bot you gonna get banned sooner or later . for me i think hardcore botting and making gold while you can is best option . move gold to safe account and thats all what you will need to pay for new account , pay for months of sub . and buy gears also . have something if you decided to leave botting one day .

I remember when I would get banned like maybe once a year,I was ok with that,because the profits that were made more than offset the cost of purchasing a new account,but lately I feel like I'm at Vegas, where I used to hit it big! and live the good life,with the fancy cars and the fancy clothes,eating caviar and drinking dom perignon every evening night,but dang! now of late,at the card table I keep busting out! and at the crap table...I keep coming up Snake Eyes!
