Because wasted forum space is something we should all worry about, regardless of the fact that the owner's and operators of this website have the ability and freedom to remove any unwanted/needed posts in order to make room for other posts should a shortage, or performance issue occur?
Face, it you felt superior because you had knowledge that you took for granted, and thought less of someone else that didn't have said knowledge, and used the internet to look down on this person. It's cool it happens every minute of every day on the internet. But call it what it is, don't make up some BS about him being lazy / stupid / <_____> for not using google.
that aside : Bobble, this is the internet and absolutely every time you post a question on the internet where you could have found the answer out moderately easily on your own (i.e. go pay 70 honor for any of the shields where the tooltip has a rating requirement on them, and then simply sell it back to the vendor after you find that it works) you're going to stand a very high chance of facing ridicule for not figuring it out on your own. There is a real life ego and an internet ego. Where f(x) = internet ego and x equals a real life ego the function generally looks something like
