Was thinking about suggesting Ignore Elites but still be able to kill rares, I don't know why its backwards and saying ignore rares checkbox when we would prefer to kill rares since they are easier.
Unless theres something I'm missing.

Rares are the yellow ones. In high level grifts they have a shitload o HP, so you may want to skip them. The blue ones are called Champions and they have considerably lower HP than their yellow counterparts.

So the way I see it the current settings are correct.

Then what are elites? They aren't purple cause those are uniques.

As long as D3 has been out, Elites are Yellow, Rares are blue, and uniques are purple. Thats how the settings are too into demonbuddy which the checkbox avoids them all at once, or you ignore rares which are blue.

Just like how arcane dust is blue which is a RARE crafting mat which makes sense since thats how the terminology has been.

Of course you could be 100% correct, its just thats how I always see and hear the terminology so wanted to ask as I have seen it skip for no reason when even using just ignore rares so I assumed thats how its also setup as when I have ignore RARES only on it tries to kill the YELLOW mobs.

The yellow items are rare items, so in turn the yellow mobs are rare mobs. Blue items are Magic items and as you said Purple mobs are unique mobs. So by this logic the term Elite mob doesn't exist. But if it does they would be the blue mobs.

Regardless as stated, Tried 4 fresh installs of various trinitys and either I dont attack blues or yellows or I skip blues and only attack yellows. All of them result with turning on/off either function.
