If you used levelers and didn't bot on your own network, APPEAL YOUR BAN

Hey guys,

Just wanted to let everyone who uses powerlevelers (pref from foreign countries) to bot and DOESNT bot on their home network to appeal your bans. I only use a leveler and have never done anything bad on my home network and i said "I got hacked" in my appeal and demanded they check the IP logs. I guess they saw it jumped between here and Europe so much that they reduced the ban to 72h for something retarded. I can't guarantee it works but its worth a shot.

I'm calling BS here. You're saying you had your 6 month reduced, yet you don't even know what it was reduced to? Why on earth would they reduce a ban when they can clearly see from the ip logs that were sharing your account (which is against the ToS btw) with someone in europe.

Show some actual evidence and you may actually get a couple people to believe you.

Yea, indeed the GMs are complete morons and would never make difference between powerleveling service and hacker, logging from a distant IP address.

I'm at a loss though that something like nthat could actually work and that if it was reduced why not removed entirely. Guilty for 3 days of punishment is guilty for 180 days of punishment IMO.

Hey guys no need for hostility. I do own Honorbuddy and botted multiple accounts I just send my main over to a guy for an added layer of protection I guess? its just a personal thing. I guess I got a mod that was not well trained. No need to be a dick, I mean, why would I lie about getting unbanned on a forum about botting?

Because he/she read somewhere that if you ever get banned you can claim you were hacked if your account was logged in from another IP. I would assume...i mean...yeah...even my own logic is falling apart at this point.

when was the last time you tried to log in to your account from a different IP? especially one halfway around the world.

since cata that i know of, your account got locked for suspicious activity and you were forced to change your password and verify it was you logging in.

but we are to assume that this poster used a service, admits to many logins back and forth, claims his ban was overturned while 90k other people were systematically declined.

all because he forced blizz to do an IP search and prove he was hacked. after they failed to confirm his identity when he was logging back and forth across the world.

it just sounds wonky.
