If you farm the same spot split between characters is it the same as between accounts

If I farm 24/7 split between a bunch of characters is it any safer than a single suicide bot?

The only benefit this would provide you is other players won't see the same toon running around farming 24/7. So i guess from a "Player-report" perspective, this may be seen as slightly safer... but from any other angle such as Blizzard monitoring... highly unlikely to make any difference.
If you wanted to be extra cautious and rotate characters, it certainly wouldn't hurt.
