i see people saying they make 50k - 100k overnight with rare pet grinding profiles.

If this is the case, why would anyone do anything else. It seems to me this is much less hassle.

Grind pets all night long. Wake up to 3-4 pets. Sell 3-4 pets. Grind some more.

Why hassle with gathering 1000's of stack of ore and herbs around which seems much more likely to get banned anyway?

Just a though...

I do believe some of the ppl are stating they sell more than they do

There's almost no market on my server for pets, but there might be with MoP for a while
 
Pets are a very risky market. To begin with there is only a niche market for them. Very few people will shell out tons of gold for pets. If you over saturate the market for them it becomes harder and harder to get rid of your stock. I personally farm Primal Airs/Essence of Airs because they are an easy 150g a pop on my server and very few people revisit old TBC/Vanilla grind spots. However, they don't sell as well on some days. I can make 10-15k in a very short session or I can leave empty handed until another day. Having been said, I tend to alternate profiles regardless of which ones are more profitable in order to appear in different zones on different days. This also allows me to diversify my portfolio and reduce inventory costs.
 
Quick question, will honorbuddy still work when mop hits? Because if honorbuddy ever stops, it will probably be the end to my wow career lol

It'll work in MoP, but depending what the lawsuit from Blizzard says, when the date actually comes sometime in the far future - is anoter thing
 
I agree. I would quit WoW if I can't B0t anymore. HB is making money for Blizzard!
 
im on high populated server and got first bid today on one of my pets i farmed. Black tabby.

Still got a hyacint with inches of dust on it and god knows how many welps in any sort. they dont sell.

and im sure, people state more then they sell indeed. some are just plain bs.
 
I've sold a lot of pets recently , they are a good earner on my server , sold 10 digusting oozelings 6k each, a black tabby for 12500, 2 fireflies 8k each, 10 whelps of various sorts for 70k, its easy enough to get 15k for a few hours, more than you would get grinding ore or herbs or leather, so i find anyway, im trying my luck with rare transmorg stuff now
 
I've only been using pet profiles for about 24 hours, But i've got 1 Azure Whelp, 1 Tiny Crimson and 2 Darks, Sold the darks for 1.5k and 1.7k ( I KNOW RIGHT?!?!?!?!) and the Azure and Crimson 10k each to the same player.
 
can anyone recommend some good pet farming profiles ?

And i know this is a bit offtopic but maybe a good deepholm skinning profile maybe ?
 
oh yes, i just found the skinning profile in kicks thank you! but i still cant find the pet farming profile ? got any direction or ?
 
I sell on a high pop server and the pet farm is obviously not a secret anymore because the market is flooded with every form of pet you can think of. Tiny Crimson whelps are going for around 5-6k now and it will take a few days to sell.
 
It is not profitable anymore ,so many pet farmers are around and they just ruin the pet prices..
For Example Azure whelpling is a world drop by 1\10000 drop chance and they sell it for 10k..
 
Yeah the mentally challenged kids have ruined the pet-market on my server too, unpatient in selling the pets they put it out for way lower than they are worth -_-

have you tried posting on forums, that's typically how i sell mine.
you cant just stick it on the ah and hope somone buys it.
you have to advertise it in forums trade etc

a botter has unloaded 5k elementium on my server, fraking ridiculous. 48g a stack to 17g in a day.

I think thats more to do with the fact that MOP is imminent. People are just dumping their stock as it will be worthless for a while.

it wil take a long time to shutdown honorbuddy is not glider we wil be here for the 4 5 years codenameg said so ye:)
