if i want to herb/mine

if i wanted to mine/herb say a specific part of the game like say all of vanilla or all of bc? or all of eastern or all of kalimdor, is there a quest profile? a plugin? a gatherbuddy?

I've tried the professionbuddy profiles and i do love them but it requires you to restart your skills and i just feel that's asking for a ban? can anyone confirm that its true or not? and maybe point me in the direction of something more specific of what i'm in search of? I'm really surprised that i cant find something like this already.

what if i made a profile and started at the bottom of some zone and just fly randomly and made paths from one end to the other? would that do it? if nothing else i hope maybe a developer who wishes to start a new project could maybe get some cool ideas from this. i'm also possibly open to pay for a script if you can guarantee success

api key required? how do i get one of those if it is? and what is an api key?

ok, so i got it installed everything seems to be working at first i had a little issue but i figured it required gatherbuddy 2 so i loaded that with a random script since its "random" and now i'm testing it out, still not entirely sure what api key is for but ill start googling now
