Identity issue

Hi folks it's me again, so 3 of my banned acc's were on same email and now after I appealed they request an identification document which I ofc can't provide. So I was thinking over and over and did send numerous tickets to try to avoid it.
Then I made this like 10min ago and wanna know what you ppl think if it will go thro.

If so well, as I told him I am telling you also, there is no way I am sending you my son's or my own private documents just so he can play a computer game! What kind of a game is it anyway that requires so much personal information...
In my days we just went to the store, bought a tetris or snake and played it as much as we want. Only reason why I am contacting you is because Josh isn't getting off my back because you are not letting him play.
To conclude this, I bought him a game and now you don't let him play unless he reveals personal documents to you? I do hope you understand that is illegal and can be/will be considered extortion or even blackmail in our country.

So I am not here to threaten you, I am here to ask you nicely to allow him to play again since I am not going to send you any of our family documents. I payed for his game and I think he has full right to play it then.

Without this to verify ownership of the account, we will be unable to assist.

This is a requirement as requested by management and is not something we can bypass or ignore.

If you wish to question the requirement for ID in this case, you are welcome to contact [email protected] with an explaination of your case.
This won't guarantee that anything will be changed, but they may be able to provide you a more detailed explanation for this requirement.

However, without ID the GM team will not be able to assist with this account. So, further tickets submitted without ID will result in the same response.

If that is your response then I will gladly notify my bank to demand a refund of absolutely all payments made to you since you are conducting an account closure without a proof
of violating any Terms of Use in which case my national laws allow me to have full right on
demanding a FULL refund since you are not fulfilling your part of the agreement.

If by any chance you can provide me with a proof of any kind of my sons violation of your Terms of Use I will gladly look into in more in detail.

It probably wasn't a good idea threatening blizzard in the initial letter. Stating something is NOT a threat and going on to insinuate what you could do if you 'were threatening' them does not deter an individuals response to feel threatened. The GMs that read the tickets are humans and most don't like feeling like they've been one upped, the letter sounds like a challenge to the reader. I would have suggested simply explaining what a father might understand from the son who wants to get back on and play, and that you do not feel comfortable sending the documents. Should have stated that you (the father) are writing the email to clarify what your son explained about the account being locked and needing ID, because you simply don't believe a game company would require such information and thought your son must be mistaken in some way. Conclude by explaining that if it is really the case that you have told your son he can no longer play unfortunately because it's just not safe handing out personal identification to strangers online. Ask to be replied to so you know weather or not you need to return the game cards you purchased for your sons birthday for the game and the unopened new boxes you recently purchased for your other son or daughter to play with them. In no way would I attempt to make any statement sound like you are telling blizzard, if you don't do what *I* say this is what I will be doing, because stated like that, I'm sure the GM won't give a rats ass. Although if the GM is not personally on the defensive, I'm sure he would not care one way or the other (the GM responsible for handling the ticket is the first step to get passed, and that is human emotions) what happens in the end as long as it doesn't result in negative consequences for him personally. Piss that person off by talking like you are better than the person reading it, he will do what he can to make sure you don't get what you want.

Even with all that, I don't think blizzard would make an exception though, but who knows? They may have a process where certain tickets could get elevated to someone who has more control, who may be able to make exceptions. The best way to appeal to blizzard is with money, and not including threats, let them decide they will lose money if they keep the ban intact...and if there is any possibility the decision can be reversed, that is probably the only way to go about it (using a fake story and if you are not a legit player not botting at all.)

Anyway at this point, why don't you just try to scan a copy of someone's ID, throw it into photoshop and blackout the DL# which is not suspicious and just edit the name? It's just used by blizzard, and I imagine just to visually verify. You could even send another email from the fake father explaining you didn't understand the reason and another parent explained it to you and suggested just blacking out the sensitive information that blizzard would have no use for. I think they just need to file an image of the ID showing a face with the name on it matching the account, for legal purposes in case they release the account to a thief and the original owner contacts them.

Well I'm no expert on the matter by any means and really have no experience myself, this is just the kind of stuff I would think about if I were in the situation.

You have to be a bit daft to put an appeal you are working on to a public forum where the odds are that blizzard are reading everything. If that would have worked it sure wont now you just set yourself right up.

serious question now. Why did you register it under an assumed name? What security did you think that would afford you or what advantage over using a real name, They do not go by names or battlenet accounts, they cant do I have my main account which is surrounded by 6 banned botting accounts. So all 7 accounts on my real name address and phone number 6 are banned as I botted them 1 isnt, Oh I botted it I botted the fuck out of it but I stopped about 6 weeks ago using that one and amazingly enough its still going strong after this round of bans.

So Once again what if any advantage did you think you got by using some fictitious name plucked from a book over your real name?
