Idea: Quest Order database.

yea, its a non-starter, there is no way to get 100% or even 99% perfect quest data and locations for everything. and even if you could, it would still not work. since there are only some quests that can be completed by certain reputation levels, there would still be a lot of manual work involved even if you could get a properly formatted profile. not only that but you have about 2 months before cataclysm comes out and youll have to find a new database, and cut out a ton of the quests that wont work.
at this point, its a non-starter.
maybe if it was right after Wrath, or BC it might of been worth it. but not anymore.

Lets say we loose 100% of all the vanilla quests once Cata is live. (i dont know, have it been said that all vanilla quests are removed in cata?)

However, lets say the quests are kept but moved around.

First idea i then have. Seperate NPC table, so instead of hardcoding "NpcName" and "NpcId" into all quests these use a simple SQL Join. so if the Npc is removed, renamed, moved, we would only need to update the "npc" in the table and recompile the QuestOrder.

99% of the quests have not changed When TBC/WOTL was released.
I am not sure but with the Cata I assume Azeroth will morph once you come back from Northrend.. Surly they keep the loar intact?????

maybe if it was right after Wrath, or BC it might of been worth it.
Might be good to start now, so we have it right after Cata?
