Greetings,
Thank you for taking the time to contact the Game Master staff concerning your issue. Although I was unable to chat with you directly, this message is to let you know that I have received and reviewed your ticket.
We will be investigating the player that you have reported to us and when that investigation is complete we will take any and all appropriate actions.
When we receive a report about a suspected Bot, we actually watch the reported player and gather as much information as we can. This is to ensure that when we do take the appropriate actions we have more than enough evidence to back it up.
Meaning you may see the reported player online for some time after you make your original report. I realize, this looks like we are not doing anything, but in reality we are doing everything we can to gather info on how they are botting so that we can try and make it no longer possible to use that method.
Often we do not take immediate actions against these players simply because evidence must be gathered. As an example, and only as an example, if someone was to report you as a bot, we would gather info and validate that claim instead of just banning your account outright. If we just banned the account outright that doesn't really help us to address the botting issue as a whole.
This process also allows us to see if the suspected bot is working with other possible bots, like AH bots and the like. If we can find evidence to that end, then we can get the other bots as well.
Again thank you very much for your report and please continue to report additional bots and we will be more than happy to investigate them as well.
