I manage to transfer my character from banned account!

My WoW2 got hit by the banwave 6 month suspension so i gaved it a shot to migrate a character to my WoW1 with Legion on it, character moved over and is playable. wtf?
 
Are they playing with us? take some more money from us then ban those accounts aswell?
 
People said it worked earlier and then stopped working. Could you guys give a few details? How long ago did you perform the transfer? Was it on US or EU?
 
I got to the very last step to submit payment for an xfer of my main, but apparently I have an heirloom in my bag that is holding it up :(
 
I get error 20081 on every single character I click on that account. I checked two different servers.

I was getting that with only certain characters on 1 realm. When I tried with different characters on another realm, the xfer works fine.

I tried a 3rd server and the xfers were working on that one. I get the error on every character on the two main servers I play on. Those are the only two servers I think I have level 100s on. The server I played on in vanilla was still allowing xfers.
