the chinese pay 0,3$/1000 gold and the other companies around 1$/k in good cases, you cant do 120 dollars per day with 3 bots

personally botting has only cost me money , but made my game time more enjoyable plus helped me spend more time doing productive real life activities, if i did work harder on the botting side , i am sure i could exploit the selling account market, well i say exploit , it would be more a case of botting accounts up t max level milking the gold they made for personal use mainly and then hopefuly trying to recover the cost of the purchasing the wow, tbc ,wotlk, cata expansions, + maybe more for time spent .

lol you're about 6 months too late, last time i sold at around 3.5/1k was around march 2010 the RMT for WOW went down the toilet after that so I stopped and got a dayjob. it was a good run for WOW RMT though, it allowed me 4+ years of being my own boss and that's priceless.

keeping my fingers crossed that a good RMT opportunity comes with Cataclysm or FFXIV or SWTOR so I can leave my dayjob again

The chinese farmer invaded the market and it's now almost impossible to make good money from this game. And unfortunately i think it's going to be like that for all the mmorpg to come. Their is just too many of them trying to make a living from online games.

Don't know what people are talking shit about here but it is still possible to make a lot of money with gold. The most important thing is, to NOT sell it to chinese gold farmer sites. I am selling gold directly to players -> paypal money transaction then face2face trade. It is not several hundreds a day but kind a thousand euro per month with 3 bots.

iam currently selling to goldsites and private buyers. the profit i make with 3 bots is round about 170$ per month. this is a realistic value since gold prices went down the toilet.
i would not recommened gold selling these days but iam playing wow besides botting, and for me its still fun to sell stuff, make some money and have enough gold for me ingame to never care about.. but it istn great business.

nah, i already substracted monthly fee

but you are right, you have to run this setup for at least 3 months to start making profit, because time to 80, cd-keys and so on.
