well i know its not to do with honour buddy but can anyone tell me the best or a very good spell rotation and what talents to spend my points on for a warlock because im only doing very low dps atm and i dont know why lol

are you 85, or still leveling?
i hand-leveled my lock almost entirelly doing instances...so i went with a destro spec....and a lot of blue gear drops.
make sure you max out INT (Spellpower on weapons) and HIT, then the rest of your stats...ignore spirit, since you can always mana tap if you run out of mana and don't really bother regenerating it

also, there's an addon called easydestro...it helps you out by showing the icon for the spell you should be casting.
it's not perfect...but it does a pretty good job to give you an idea of what to cast when. it's really pretty straightforward as to what the spell rotation is..not too much of it is based on the situation other than which curse/bane to use and which guardian to summon.

and for gear...if you really don't want to learn or try to figure out which gear is better than your current one..i like an addon called PAWN. it literally shows a little up arrow on gear that's better than your current, and can be set up to do it for both main and off-spec.

The one thing to bear in mind is that their recommendations are largely for raiders where you'll have all sorts of great buffs from your companions. If you're looking to do better solo, you'll need to consider this, and may have to figure out ways to increase your Hit or Crit or whatever you will be missing due to the lack of raid-buffs.

oo...if you're actually botting the lock (I run LazyRaider most of the time nowadays on my main)...I tried LazyLock CC last night...it kicked some major behind! was doing 12K dps
i was top dps again...that hasn't happened since pre-cata heroics
my gear is ilvl is 341..with some horrible trinkets that need to be updated...and most of it is not enchanted

Hey my item lvl is 343 with mostly pvp gear from boting bg's because iv never ran dungeons on honour buddy because I'm a but unsure how well it'll work what talent spec you got on your warlock ?

as far as gear goes...this is what i currently have, vs my ideal pre-raiding gear should be, everything is reforged (theckout WoW Reforge Calculator & Optimizer, it'll optimize your current gear based on your selected spec.) I didn't get the chance to gem my legs yet, just made them last night

if you really wanna go all out..run simcraft, get your weights, re-optimize the gear ..
but for now generic stats are fine for me..specially since they're pretty close to my "simulated" stats.

your stats for destro are:
Int >> Hit (to cap - 615 Heroics/1742 Raids) > Haste > Crit > Mastery

i'm a little shady as to where the haste cap would be..if there is one...and at which point to start going for crit vs haste.

As far as gems go, you should be gemming brilliant inferno ruby into everything you can..i think the meta gem is burning shadowspirit diamond, which requires 3 reds...which is perfect...since you'll be up to your eyeballs in red gems

So....last night I realized I had enough rep with a few factions to get some enchants...DUH, and got to revered with Therazine (I know..not much of an achievement...but with 30 minutes queue times...it takes a while) to get the ring. here's the updated gear and reforge/enchant list.

i'm also thinking, to hell with it...i'll just buy a darkmoon card: volcano..they're going for about 15K in my server right now...and i've seen them as low as 12K (although, as high as 20K as well)
...or just wait for my inscriptionist to finally make one...she's about half way there right now...
