Solved - I just love max sessions bug !

I mean come on, is this so hard to fix. Its not a big deal if the client crashes upon login. The problem is i stay logged in without a client. So after restarting and reatempting to log in db, it says max sessions. I am presuming i am somehow logged in to the server but db process shows nowhere after i ctrl+alt+del. So the only way around this is closing all my previous sessions (4 more clients) and relog with all of them again, praying that it wont happen again.

If you go to Home Page - Buddy Auth Portal you can see all of your open session and kill them from there. What happens is if DB is not shut down safely, like when it crashes, it will not log out of that session. I think there is also a timeout period so if you just wait 5 minutes it should automatically stop that session.

I apologize to the db team, it seems i wasn't up to date with certain events. Mark this as solved admins...

come on, fix the problem plz, it's so annoying

they did provide a fix its call the buddyauth.com process discussed above. if you can't be happy that they even made that page and that someone offered you their help then don't post.
