So I was thinking...

I know with Wildstar going F2P and the relaunch comes MASSIVE changes to the game with questing, mobs, and pretty much everything. That means that putting out a complete questing profile is going to take A LONG TIME, which is very understandable, because that's a ton of work.

But I was thinking that maybe someone with lots of experience profiling could post a guide on how to make your own custom grinding profile.

Start with the simplest....such as just the grind commands. What's working, what isn't. I'd like to add more and more complicated stuff as I learn, though.

I've tried to start very simple, but sometimes my guy just starts running back and forth.

Here is the code

<Profile Name="Algoroc 11-14" Author="Scottius" Version="1">
<Grind>
<GrindArea>
<Hotspot X="4230.132" Y="-1038.94" Z="-3809.909" Timeout="750" Range="300" />
</GrindArea>
</Grind>
</Profile>

Any help, or a guide on how to do this would help a lot!

I also wanted to say that if I learn and can make good profiles for myself, I'll be more than happy to post them on here for everyone :)

I am buying this today, is it easy enough to make your own grinding profiles? Things to farm bits and such?

OKAY
So I did find one little trick that helps.

To stop my guy from just running back and forth in a line, I added multiple hotspots. It seems like wildbuddy will pick up ont he other hotspot when doing that and run to it. Though it will start doing it but will stop fairly quick.

Any other suggestions about how to stop that?

Scottius that doesn't work.
From my experience it's the nav server lagging, because sometimes it's good, and sometimes it isn't, and before free to play it wasn't that often for sure.

And is a very botish behaviour

I'm lvl 20 off my grinding profiles now. I noticed that I sometimes do go into botish behavior. Honestly, I'm running the bot with my game open while I'm doing something else, and I check it often.

Hopefully we will see improvements to the nav and such. I've heard the devs are working hard on getting wildbuddy going with the relaunch. Here's to hoping :P
