I got hacked (yeah someone got hacked again)

Hey ppl, i got hacked... I mean i will get everything back, but the prob is i have many important stuff on my computer. i lost all my gold and some stuff got sold and such.
the problem is i have only honorbuddy here (and some videos and such, but no other tools!!) so how could this happen? is it possible to make a plugin for honorbuddy which can steal data? i mean it has to do something with wow because my wow gold is stolen.
and i got 2 wow accs with 2 different HBs. the one without plugins (only the standart which are in the rar file) isnt hacked, only the one where i downloaded some plugins.

i am suspicious about the raremobs, slow and TLPD. please let us find the problem
Edit2: They made a char and send all the gold there... well they made 2 chars but only the one near ratchet got the gold. i got the gold but he sold my lila items o_O
Edit: I used the TLPD today and it was my first time i got hacked.

maybe an addon you downloaded recently? or some scam email
 
I don't think Honourbuddy has anything to do with you getting hacked. I use basiclly the same plugins as you and ive never ever had any issues. It guess would be possible to get hacked by a plugin, but I recon you downloaded a keylogger or somthing else were. The only way a plugin could hack you, is if you had to type your wow user and pass into it.

Don't blame HB, Im almost 100% it would have come from somwere else.
 
I dont blame HB, im blaming plugins. i dont know much, it was just an idea that a plugin would do it. i recently downloaded _NPCScan . Thats all i did with wow.
 
there is no way the mods would allow a keylogger to be in any plugin its nothing to do with HB
 
but is it possible?
because the coder can just implement keylogger for like some hours and change the file so only some ppl will get the keylogger... i dont know whether it is possible to implement a keylogger in an plugin or not. im talking about HB plugins.
Is it possible to implement keylogger in wow addons?

Most of the malware gets onto your computer by exploits in software or services running, this could be something as simple as a web browser hitting the wrong code on a webpage to a service running in the background of your OS that a worm exploits. opening ports on your firewall+router because most people leave uPnP enabled. this stuff just happends.
 
Ouch.. To accuse Katzerle of putting spyware or PW stealing stuff in his/her plug-in is sorta lame... I would start with the person using the PC.
