What you didnt think of, was that he logged in through a vpn in colorodo from china to avoid suspicious behavior... but thats just me, its more likely that someone used their real IP adress for internet theft right?

POLISER has a point, using a VPN tunnel when doing illegal stuff is pretty much.. Well yeah, default.
It could also be in use when selling gold, as you can always say you got hacked (and Blizzard will see the VPN IP when checking it up).
