very old, and just a publicity stunt to get all quiet again that where complaining about the bots.

I wasn't really worrying, I just read it and thought they might be putting more hamsters on the wheel.
 
The thing is, bliz wouldn't publicly announce that they're changing security if they were. They would keep it hush so they could catch us off guard. Appreciate your concerns though.
 
the min they posted this there where threads all over the wow forums.

People where asking them to implement a CAPTCHA system or better tools to report bots like reported by 5 in bg automaticly kicked or by right clicking giving the option to /report bot and sends all info to blizz instead of us making tickets.

Some solutions seemd pretty damn good, but they didnt do anything with it and on all those pages, not even ONE blue response!

Now they implement theyre real id crap again, see what they have been working on? deffo not some anti bot thingie!

If they want you, they will get you. Thing is, i think 25 % of wow is or has been botting in the past, banning those would lose em more then 600 k they lost last month.

I think they dont care, and only investigate player reports. If the gm recognizes you as a bot, your banned, but 90 % of the time they dont.

This game is going down, slowly, they need to squeeze out every last drop, and thats not done by sticking huge amounts in anti bot programs or banning those who do bot.

Few weeks back, they got a banwave on pirox... why,not cause they put effort in it.. the botters got careless.

Blizzard, you dont scare me one bit.. thats for sure.

If they ever put in a captcha system for anything in this game. I would quit right then.
