are you sure the key your trying to use is the same one listed on the buddyauth website? are you sure theres no spaces before or after your key?


if your sure, try flushing your dns

reset your host file back to default.

I did everything

I did everything you said try and here is my log this time it trys to connect but wont connect not sure whats goin on ... I closed everything cleared DNS reset router checked host file and made sure I used the right key its like it wont accept my key for some reason just keeps saying trying to reconnect

Go to Programs and Features, in your windows Control panel.
Look for:
- microsoft .net framework 4 client profile
- microsoft .net framework 4 extended
- microsoft .net framework 4.5.x
- microsoft visual c++ 2010 x86 redistributable
- microsoft visual c++ 2012 x86 redistributable


and Uninstall them if they are installed.
Restart your PC.

Download Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5.1 (Web Installer) for Windows Vista SP2, Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8, Windows Server 2008 SP2 Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 and Windows Server 2012 from Official Microsoft Download Center


run both as administrator.
after the both installs are completed, run windows update. And install all updates for .net & c++
Then do one last restart.

ok guys I figured it out I was on the Windows 10 Preview and when it did recent update it wouldnt let the HB work ... so I went back to 8.1 and its working fine now just wanted to say something so that the people having probs with the Win 10 Preview has an answer
