I can't get my rogue to quest in talador

This is a new thread based on my old one. It wouldn't let me post a new attachment.

So, I have done several fresh installs and no luck. I know HB is working on my pc because all my other characters work just fine.

Tony told me to post a new log after a fresh install. Now, it just spams: Moving to Type: QuestPickUp, NavType: Fly

looks like you have a lot of errors. have you tried uninstalling and installing hb again ? normally works for me

Done so many fresh installs now including the log i just posted, which was from a fresh install. What's confusing me is the fact all my other characters work for questing on those installs...

Hi, Chrisbest558, and sorry you're having problems.

First, let's delete your mesh directory. You can find it here:

C:/Users/Chris/AppData/Local/Bossland/Honorbuddy/Meshes/​

Just delete the whole thing.

Windows normally hides the AppData directory, so you may need to change the "Show hidden file, folders, and drives" setting in the FileExplorer to see it.


Second, let's make certain your dependencies are intact. Please follow the steps in the "Repairing it manually" section of this article:

And lastly, let's do a 'clean install' as described here:

Honorbuddy:HelpDesk:"Clean installing" Honorbuddy​

As stated in the article, It is important for the clean install that you:

• Use a NEW directory in which to install Honorbuddy (e.g., C:/Honorbuddy/)
• Do NOT copy anything from a previous Honorbuddy installation
• Do NOT install any third-party products
• Disable the streaming of all products from the Buddy Store

Please leave it in this configuration until we get your problem sorted.


If no joy, please attach a fresh log of the 'clean install' after doing all the above activities.
