So today I was botting and I reached my limit on AV marks and AB marks on a couple of my characters, so I switched BG's no biggie, but i got a LOT of mail of all the AV marks and I could'nt receive because of my cap. I figure just using level bot was a little more appropriate that way the mail doesn't pile up and blizzard doesn't start to get.. 'curious'. However, i botted for about 3 hours when I came in and all my accounts were disconnected. I was about to log in when suddenly a little icon on my toolbar caught my eye. I double clicked it and it was a blizzard "Background Downloader". Now I read in one of the threads that blizzard has the right to scan your computer for suspicious programs that could be running while your wow window is open and active. The window looked blank and just like a downloader that just said, "waiting.." I figure blizzard is trying to pull what we are by renaming our programs but hey I'm just spit balling here. Any Ideas? O and my accounts were fine btw bots working great

The background downloader is just a rebranded bittorrent client to download patches without using much of their bandwidth, not Warden.

Blizzard does not have the right to scan outside it's own process. Privacy is huge thing sir. Background downloader is probs for the new patch being putout.

It probaly was blizzard background downloader since there relaseing parts of 3.3.3 patch, and i dont know were you got "blizzard can scan your pc" because it is not true since they will be breaking people privacy laws. dont worry about your marks in the mail because when 3.3.3 get's released the mark of honour system is getting scrapped so they will just dissapear mate.
