As the title states, I am currently working on building the funding for what will be the largest WoW botting operation in history, (at least the largest run by one person).

By the end of 2014, I plan to have 1k accounts running between 20 different machines. I will only be botting in the U.S. to start.

I have ran my costs and my estimated profit, accounting for everything necessary and not even including the possible new expansion this year.

Reaching this many bots and only selling half the gold would be:

10k per account per day * 1000 = 10,000k (aka 10 mil).
Each account will be bringing in $8 a day after the game time is paid for, (which is approx 50c if you are paying the $15 a month. I probably would take that option for each one using virtual credit cards to avoid losing game time to the inevitable bans).

I'll be paying 20 employees daily to make sure the bots run smoothly, $40 a day each. That's -$800 for the upkeep.

After all this, I won't sell all the gold. It won't be possible to. I'll probably end up only being able to get rid of half of it. $3,600 a day at this point.

Then accounts will be banned. 10+ a day at least. -$600 for new bare bones accounts with one 90 on it, (mining + herb maxed). I'll contract a company to continuously do this for me.

In the U.S, 3k a day after self employed taxes is about $2k a day. That's $60k a month, just shy of a million dollars a year.

2015 is going to be an awesome year.
 
Did you actually start, or just did some calculation's in excell? Do you mind sharing what is already done?
 
Guess this is just a story ... if someone seriously plans to do a step like that, he just does it and talks afterwards. I dunno :/
 
You forget about money for the PCs, money for Energy, HB licenses, WoW Gametime and btw. if you can get "employees" working a full day for 40$ they must be slaves ;)
I do not believe it until I see it but we are more than happy selling you 1000 HB Sessions :D

the smarter way to do this would be to hire people online and pay them via paypal to do this on their computers that way a person with a full time job could just pop in every now and then and check the bot. i could use the extra 40 a day starvin college kid over hea. all you'd have to do is supply them with the bot and the account. and they'd give you the money they make per day for the 40$. then you could focus your energy on a manager to manage that side and you'd need to manage the selling side wich you'd need to pay them more money or hire other people to sell.
 
noone with a clear mind will take care of 50 accounts for 40$ a day... what is that for, 1 hour in the morning to start the bots, and one hour in the evening to shut em down?! where is the maintaining (stucks, dosconnects, various interaction), the selling and transfering of gold, etc?

where are the downtimes for the bans? or do you think a company will give you full leveld 90s with professions leveld for the price of the bare gamekeys?!

where are the costs for multiple internet connections or v p n s h i t and pr o x y s h i t, or do your run 1000 clients from like 2 - 5 IPs? guess you never botted more than 10 accounts in total, otherwise this kindergarden calculation and playroom business plan would not have been written down...

not considering at all, that demand will not cover your business on a daily base and prices may plumet, if such a "big" new(b) competitor enters the market. but yeah you mentioned that allready and said yourself that you will only sell half of the gold, so who would exceed the market demand on purpose by 100% with his production anyway?! best economical logic 2014 discovered!

TLDR: prepare to burn your money.......and time!

PS: what may speaks for you is, that you are registered and therefor maybe using the bot for around a year by now, with no forum posts, so you may know how to use the bot and research solutiosn for problems that came by. Still, that makes me even more confused about this "castle in the sky" plan.
 
Second sentence I already knew this won't work out.. 50 Accounts per machine. Did You ever bot on 30 Accounts on one machine ? You not only can't buy any shitty pc and do it, but you will also face a serious increase in ban risk. And you can't possibly have a machine able to run 50 vm with 50 wow, 50 hb and 50 prox. I don't think so.

I know the income sounds nice, but there are walls in this business which you can't just forget about. I can run 5 bots on the same PC and IP for months with my way of botting. But as soon as I step it up to 20, it only needs one account investigation and a possible chain reaction (gm investigates all related accounts) to wipe me out.


Edit: If you attempt this anyway, I will gladly supply you with leveled accounts as many as you need for key price + leveling service ;)

10k per account per day is easy to do sure. But it will get harder and harder when your are getting more account, because you cant pay tons of attention per account to set every thing up!

And you want the be the biggest botting dude stand alone and you want to get employees/slaves?
Could I also ask how would you do this legaly?

And I'm not sure how old you are, but think again with more experience
 
I didn't start laughing till people started taking this seriously. The time spent maintaining these account could be spent making and selling a bot.
 
Think im gonna retire the gold farming business and take up goat herding.
