Like the title says, ive been running my bot for about 12-16 hrs a day for the past few weeks and ever since the patch a few days ago i keep getting an error that says :

[LootItemTask] Now attempting to interact with the item. This is the #4 attempt.
[InteractWith] Now attempting to highlight 27145. holdCtrl = False.
[InteractWith] The target 27145 could not be highlighted.

Now i am gonna upload the full log, but i have a theory it might be a problem with the stuck detection plugin, as it seems to always be triggered right after an event, but it definitely could be just a coincidence. I also estimate that i am picking up maybe 1/10 rares, and since the patch on my 4 accts i havent found a single unique, which is very discouraging. Any insight from anyone who is having similar issues i think would be very helpful. Thanks.

For the first part of your log, the bot can't work if you start it from your Hideout, so you'll need to start it in town our in the normal overworld.

To test an idea I have about the interaction stuff, try this:
0. Close all PoE clients.
1. Go to the "My Games\Path of Exile" folder in your Documents and Settings folder in Windows.
2. Rename "production_Config.ini" to "production_Config.ini.bak".
3. Relaunch PoE and login. You'll have to re-change your RMB and MMB buttons to keys to avoid the GUI overlap and re-setup the defaults needed by the bot (always highlight, key pickup, etc..)

Re-test the bot and see if the issue is fixed.

I just tried this. The problem still happens.

I have logs for the latest beta at https://www.thebuddyforum.com/exilebuddy-forum/exilebuddy-support/184031-bot.html

I am not using VM or any FPS limiting software (except the VSync option in the client).

I also downloaded a fresh copy of the bot. I only set the zone and the problem still happens. See logs.

I don't have any other ideas right now of what could be going wrong.

If the bot is opening chests, opening doors, interacting with shrines, the waypoint, NPCs, and area transitions fine, then there's no reason why it should have issues with loot. The only thing different with loot is that the bot holds down the Highlight key, which defaults to Alt, but the API will read whatever client key bind is set, before trying to interact with the item. I've tried rebinding this key, and it's still working normally for me.

Everything relies on the same GUI label processing system, and uses the same input functions to perform actions. If something were wrong with that system, everything should break, because the only thing different, is one key either being held or not. The default input delays should be more than enough to not cause issues and since you reset client settings, things should still work like before.

When the bot isn't running or attached, you're able to highlight items this way in game normally, right? Hold Alt, hover over the item label, and the item preview tooltip shows up, which you can click to pickup, right?

There's only one last thing I'll need from someone who is having this issue to try and understand why it's not working for them. If you can reproduce the problem simply by dropping an item out of town and it isn't able to pick it up, I need you to record that, but before starting the bot, switch to the client to give it focus and press Alt + Shift + X to enable cursor debugging. This will show me exactly where the bot is trying to interact with the item, and might shed some light on the issue. After it fails to loot, you can press Alt + Shift + X again when the client has focus to disable the cursor debugging to regain control, and then stop the bot.

Or, if you're unable to make a video to show that, here's a video of me doing it right now (I'm running in Olly so my client is a bit slower than yours will be) of what should be happening: link. If you can watch that and compare to yours and report if it looks any different, that would help, because right now, I'm unable to reproduce that issue or even come up with an idea of why it'd be happening for only a few people.

Alright ill do that and post it for you. Out of curiosity, is this also happening for you push? Or is yours working as it should? I ask because i just switched GPUs, although I highly doubt that it has anything to do with that, the only thing that is different from when it was working is that i am running all my bots at the lowest settings now. Anyway, I will mess around with it once I get back from work and post the video. Also i wanted to thank you push for all your work, i really do appreciate it.

I only saw the issue occasionally as I was in the process of updating the bot for 1.2.4. Once I updated everything, I haven't noticed the issue again since, nor can I reproduce it anymore.

cyberbot sent me a video which I was able to figure out the issue.

It's actually a client issue, but I don't know why it's happening, or the exact circumstances it triggers from. However, I'll be updating the LootItemsTask in the next version to try and avoid the issue if it was not changed in the 1.2.4b update itself. Basically, when the bot is unable to loot the items, it's because the client is physically disallowing it. All I can do is increase the delay between attempts, and make it try more before giving up on a piece of loot.
