I am awful with my alts

Thanks to all the improvements of HB I can now happily say that I have officially hit my 6th 85 though HB (I have 7 in total)

I have leveled only one toon from 1-85. The other 6 have been completely leveled with HB (some I did cheat by getting a unmerged SoR account at level 80). At this point most of the CC's and profiles are so spot on that I have to interject so infrequently that I hardly know how to play the classes I ding. Special thanks to Kick for his amazing work on his profiles. I also have almost full Ruthless on all the 85s now thanks to various plugins and BG Buddy.

Some classes are certainly harder / slower than others. (Warlocks are by FAR the worst for PvE and PvP, please update one of the CC's for this! I almost stopped and hand leveled this guy).

I've been botting since the early Glider days. The only infraction I ever received was when I literally grind leveled a toon from 1-80 during the LK era, and that was only a 72 hour well deserved ban. At one point I was up to 300k gold (could have easily broken a million if I kept at it and didn't spend gold like a drunken sailor). On a percentage, I would say only 5% or less time is spent with me using Gatherbuddy for gold, but even that has been extremely profitable. I never sold gold, and never would so I'm sure that helped.

I am by no means the best botter their is, I have 0 programming knowledge so I rely on people of the community to post their work. But for those thinking about really pushing, Honorbuddy is a great tool. Just bot smart, always be connected in a way to your accounts (be it via BuddyProwl, in person, or through a remote connection), and don't bot round the clock for inhumanly sustainable times and you will be fine.

In case you were wondering I will rate the ease of classes to bot.

Ridiculously Easy / Fast
Blood Deathknight
Paladins
Enhance Shammy

Good pace
Feral Druid (have not hit 85 on this yet)
BM Hunter
Rogues assuming you keep bags stocked with food

Slow
Shadow Priest (up to level 83.5 with him)
Mage - this may have been my fault. I leveled him fire 100%. I heard afterwards that for botting, frost may have been a better choice.

I wouldn't recommend
Warlock. I think its mostly the CC logic that causes it to be slow

Other things I have achieved with HB:
Professor Title with Archaeology
Topped meters in LFR with Lazyraider
Full Ruthless gear on 4 character, so I don't have to PvP undergeared
Roughly a million gold farmed
Tons of misc achievements
Multiple companion pet drops.

Great story, I have botted a DK and a Warlock (Dk is 85 and lock is 84) and i agree that warlock is a pain to bot.
But i'm wondering how you got so much money?
I have 30k now from botting.

I use to do a lot of gathering on a different account. From there, back when my characters were together on the same server I use to work the shuffle quite hard. Saronite Shuffle in LK and Elementium in Cata. I leveled my gatherer from 80-85 doing nothing but gathering from the onset. Made unthinkable amounts of money that first month.

Right now its not nearly that good, wait till Mists and the new expansion market will explode again.

So we have to wait till MoP and then the demand for mats will be high again, sound logical to me.
At the moment i'm gathering raw mats and i sell them on the AH.

I know how you feel.. I had 12 85's on my account that was recently banned.. now I'm starting over on a different server.. I have 1 85 and a bunch of others waiting to be leveled

You don't have to wait till MoP to make gold, not by any stretch of the imagination. You just won't make crazy amounts of gold off basic items (example I was selling elementium for 120g+ a stack).

Selling raw mats is probably the worst way to make gold. There is a lot more gold to be made with the more primary professions that you have.

For example, ore you take a JC'er and prospect or a BS to make Blue items to DE into heavenly shards. Herbs you mill for glyphs or use in conjuction with JC to xmute green gems to more valuable blue con ones.

Raw mats is by far the worst. First off to make any sort of gold you have to post a crazy number of stacks, which will flag people of "why does this guy have 100 stacks of whiptail on the AH". I personally will never post more than 7 stacks of raw at a time and will not exceed 12 total sales in a day of a raw material, if I ever post that. Some may find that too conservative, but I take a much more better safe than sorry approach.

But my suggestion, if you don't already is have at least 1 other toon on your server with two primary professions. JC is probably the best and I have a slight preference of enchanting followed by BS, and I really don't personally like Alch (though you can make a ton of gold with the right server).

i botted 1-70 then profession to 85

warlock x2, warrior, dk, mage, hunter, shaman, paladin, druid, priest (50 now),

with princess of darkness in demo, even with the weird rotation is so freaking ez and fast.. same as hunter bm with singular. i dont know after 70 but 1-70 i can tell warlocks are extremly ez and fast.

may i ask you wich spec and cc u used as rogue?

here's the chars I have levelled purely using HB

85 mage in frost spec, was my first botted char with HB
then I made a druid feral spec level 84 only 5 bars to 85
85 shaman elemental spec
I have 1 hand levelled char and he is a DK,
I have 82 pally, I used SOR to get it to level 80 lol
43 rogue (stopped botting the rogue as it was a pain in the neck
currently botting level 46 warrior.

For Warlocks, I have had a good experience with felmaster or CLU using raidbot. Raidbot seems like a must for warlock CCs.

However, I do have a pretty high powered machine. I am not sure what some of these CCs look like on old junker PCs. I sometimes wonder if my CCs are complete garbage on a bad PC.

Edit: I GUESS It does, with all the other cc i used in LFR my fps is 4 (ultraxion) - 15 other fights, and my dps/heal is really lower compare in DS 10 normal (25-40 fps).

How are you using those CC's for questing or pvp? Don't both of those essentially require Lazyraider?

My computer shouldn't be a problem. I have a 4ghz i5 with 2x GTX460's in SLI and I only run 1 instance of WoW at a time.

well im doing my first 1-85 using HB ive never botted wow before and i got 85 lock 85 dk 70+hunter 50+druid all my self. i did how ever get 80-85 on druid with HB and almost stoped using cause i was a noober. but anyways i bot all kinds of weird hours i hope to be able to bot 100% afk at times like when im working or at home so i can get the max amout of time on cause right now ill get like 4hs max mybe a few hours more if bot dont get stuck questing im lvl 42 with 1day played so far .
