hyperthread question

hey buddies

I have a I7 4core hyper thread and as almost everybody knows is that the most games doesn't support more then just 4 cores (thought there where just 2 games that do) so me question is :
does hyper thread really help with multibotting?
because the game will just use the core/threads that are supported. or will windows help the game with choosing with threads/cores it need to use?

I also use VMware and I think that would really benefit using an hyper threading CPU

Highly doubt it is, most apps don't support it the main ones that do are video rendering apps, Photoshop, and winrar. VM ware might use it for the OS. Here's some more info on it Questions on hyper-threading and cores [Solved] - Core - CPUs
