so, i used to have an i5 2500k, bots ran fine.

just got myself an i7 3770k and now the D3 clients crash a lot. turning off HT seems to have halted the crashes but having it off kinda defeats the purpose of having a 3770k. any tips on how to prevent the D3 crashes with HT turned on?

HT gives a big boost to CPU power, don't wanna have it off cause of the damn bots.

well on my i7 with HT gettin 100% of cpu usage while using my bot's with HT off its goind down to 60% so =)) i'm keeping it off ;-)

Hey rafael i recently got a new computer with I7 3770k too.

However i have not encountered such a problem. If anything they seem more stable. I may get 1-2 crashes a day but only if i am using my system for something else. If i leave the pc alone like when i sleep i can report no crashes at all. I don't really think it is the CPU. How many accounts you run though?

not the case here, it pretty much halves my CPU usage with HT on, which is how it should be :p

i run 4 clients on 2 accounts, like my sig.

it might be my mobo. it's not really suited for ivy bridge, it only got compatibility via bios update. i've already bought a new one, but that might only be arriving next week, so till then i'm stuck without HT i guess ;[

hmm turning off Internal PLL Overvoltage seems to have fixed it.
