We've been discussing this issue in one of the pally CC threads but I thought I would bring it to a wider audience and see if anyone else is having this issue or if it was just related to pally's.
When farming in Hyjal, several of the profiles (Killertypos, Zuabros, Benjan's) make a circle around Doom's Vigil, Seat of the Chosen, and Forge of Supplication areas down in the SE corner of the map. In this area is a mob called a Twilight Stormwaker, level 81 elite drake type thingue that flies around.
What we are seeing is that either
1) You enter combat with the mob, the mob flies down and attacks you as usual and either you die or it dies. No problem here.
2) The mob aggros you, stays up in the sky, and nukes you to death. Honorbuddy recognizes you are in combat but never targets the mob. It appears that these mobs may need to take damage before they will fly down to get into melee range. As they never get targeted, they never take any damage, and they just stay up there and nuke till you die.
3) The mob aggros you, stays up in the sky, but you never receive at attack. HB says you are in combat. WoW says you are in combat. But there is no mob actively attacking you. When this happens, the only way I've been able to clear combat so I could remount is to close wow through the task manager.
Anyone else having any problems with these mobs? So far, I've talked to several pally's that are having probs but I've tried 4 different pally CC's and the issue is present with each one, so I don't think it's a CC issue.
