From time to time I like to play, sort of. I don't like doing all the fighting, so I let the bot take care of that. But I will do the navigation. It is easy with HB1, just clear the mesh and start the bot. The bot will stay in a state of 'moving to hotspot', then I can just run him around all I want. When you get close enough to an enemy and target it, the bot takes over fighting. A fun little hybrid bot/human mode. Am I the only one that does this? :)

all you have to do, Is delete the hotspots in one of the profiles you use, and presto, you control where he runs and kills =] you target the mob, next thing you know.. BAM its dead =] an example is this

you are not alone :p

^_^ yeah I do it too, spesh when im VERY LAZY in a instance :)

Would that work for healing teammates as well ? Like the bots did in warhammer. They targeted and healed, you did the moving....basically, you would leave the instance as the winner with massive heals..

Sure does ! great profile for it too, Look up Gotwood for druids!

This really needs to be implemented as a feature in HB, it'd become the ultimate tool for lazy raiders/HC farmers ^^

You can do it though, very easily just by loading a profile without hot spots buddy

That's not the approach i want to take everytime i'm gonna slide tru a raid, there needs to be a button! :P
Also, afaik it doesn't work on HB2.. and i'm not reverting to HB1 again ;D

It works with HB2 buddy.. Get any profile, Find the hot spots and delete them. Then, Load that profile every time you want to raid /win

So from what i understand, if i run Mordd's wikkid Palla CC, Go to an instance, click on a target, it will choose a spell and heal them, or keep them focused and it heals all the time?

if i could get this to run with my pally as healer i would def be into speccing my dual spec as healer instead of tank >.>

Any way to get around the "No suitable grind or quest hotspots in dragonblight.
No grind or quest hotspots have been defined!" spam. It causes massive lag :/

Would be cool if we could just push a button to start the combat logic instead of risking pulling something by accident.

I'm working on a plugin that will toggle HB on/off at the press of a user defined keybind. It only toggles the HB thats attached to the wow window in the foreground. maybe I'll post it tomorrow .

Doesn't hb take a bit too long to initialize for this to be effective?
Wouldn't just blocking HB from starting combat until a key is pressed and after the kill block it again? (Don't know much about the API so no clue if this is possible) be a more effective way? :)

It takes HB a few sec to start up the 1st time.after that it only takes 1 sec to start up, stopping it is instant, though it might still be moving if it had issued a click-to-move.
I plugin is 98% done,. just need to tidy it up and I'll post it tomorrow.

well, really you can do this....you can make a plugin so basicly.
While Honorbuddy is Running, and im not in combat,
Wait.

and use a plugin to stop honorbuddy from doing things like moving, and resting. since the pulse it uses to basicly do everything is stuck waiting, it would let the user do whatever they wanted, and only let honorbuddy run during combat.

edit:
done, ill upload it soon.

Edit:
here it is. http://www.buddyforum.de/showthread...-want-to-Play-but-Not-Fight&p=68397#post68397
