So i bought brand new pc,video card is amd r9 270x once i started using vmware i run like 2 vmware with bots and in max 15 mins i get this error: "display driver error' my screen going black and in few seconds it recovers but vmware doesnt recove and has black screens on each vmware!!!have anyone encountered this?

Are your drivers updated ? seems like a software error. Also, try enabling/disabling 3D Acceleration in VMs Settings

Do you have an Intel CPU? If so, disable Intel SpeedStep (or similar) in the bios. I've had this issue with nvidia gfx cards. Intel SpeedStep enabled, lots of display driver crashes, disabled - no more crashes.
For AMD CPUs I think it's called Cool and Quiet, but I could be wrong as I don't have any AMD CPUs.

i did what you told me to it was running rly stable with 3 bots than i added dota 2 to test how it goes after some alt tabbing i got it again ill try without dota to see how they work
y they are disabling 3d acceleration isnt an option cant even run poe when its disabled

well it disabling cool&quiet for whatever it is for Intel fixed it, then you're ready to go !

I have the same problem with the same GPU. Dont have a solution for that, sorry. Its a hardware problem with that VGA. They have a factory overclock, and this fuck all.
Well just for the info,i tryed shit tons of things drivers,registry editing,power changes,nothing worked.The only solution i found is to keep my gpu under load.2 days now gpu is oc'ed and on 40% usage(heat is 45C).Not a single black screen,if i dont keep it under load i get black screens at random.Havent tryed windows 8 only...
