Heya,

So I had both of my accounts banned hah..
Well tbh I got an email were I was asked to change my password, I did and then when I logged in it said that my accounts were banned (never got any email or anything similar though :/)

The 3rd bot, which was leveling with Arch buddy on a dif account was still alive and kicking (on the same PC too)

I guess you got a fishing mail (password reset) and after your account was compromised it got banned/blocked.

NEVER use links given in emails always go to the site yourself.
For example if Blizzard asks to change your password (which, afaik they never do) go to the battle.net site by yourself and don't use the link provided!!!

PS : this is also true for everything else!!! (paypal, creditcard, ... etc)

Nope the email was from Bliz and my password was resetted while I was botting and both of my bots got kicked out of the game.

Well I sent them an email like an hour after the event and now I got an email that I got a final warning and 72h suspension on both accounts and then I can play on them once again ;/

Oh well :P

Usually when you get a "change password" email its because something happened on your account from a GM, when I had 12 accounts banned at once they sent all 12 change password emails, I guess to ensure that I was the rightful owner, but even then they didnt remove the bans.

Could be a ban, a suspension, a lock, compromised account etc. Maybe it's testing to see if the IP on the account is the same IP that will reset the password aka the owner so they can say it was the owner doing the exploitive acitivities /shrug

also should never go on battlenet and log in while u are botting same as never open a ticket while botting just ip the risk

This happened to me when one of my accounts was accessed from China. Was nothing to do with botting. I had to call Blizz to have it fixed.

Possibly this happened. I also didn't reset my password before changing my IP hmm maybe that saved me for now ;P
