Note: I am aware there is already another guide, However I am very OCD and seeing the different languages and so forth really annoyed me. I have mixed guides together but the images and wording are my own.
Honorbuddy Guide
Guide Version 1.0 [Changelog Below]
World of Warcraft of Course [Official Direct Downloadhttps://www.worldofwarcraft.com/account/download/clients/pc/InstallWoW.exe]
.Net Framework 3.5 or Above [Download Here]
Q. How do I know if I have .Net Framework 3.5?
A. Open Internet Explorer or Firefox then type the following code into the Address bar and hit enter. Google Chrome has been tested and does not work with this code!
You should have something like this .NET CLR 3.5 (Ignore other Numbers) at the very least!
Downloading the Files
You can download Honorbuddy by clicking on this link, and look for the very latest Honorbuddy.
(Usually the Top One) Then click its name, then click on the big download button. Kinda like this one..
1. Save or Open It.
2. Extract to a Folder or use your own Software to extract to your designated location (7-Zip Download)
3. Optional - Make 2 new folders "Meshs" and "Profiles"
Running Honorbuddy for the First Time
1. Start World of Warcraft and Log On to a character you will be botting on. When you are in-game move on to step 2.
2. You must have Click-To-Move enabled in your WoW Settings.. Must look Like Image Below!
3 And 4. Run Honorbuddy. It should say it's attached to World of Warcraft like in the image below. Then login at the top of with your forum information. It should explode with text after it is done authenticating
.
5. You will need a profile, these can be downloaded at this forum and I recommend saving it somewhere in your Honorbuddy folder. Make sure you get a profile that works for you, keep in mind not all will work 100% bug free.
6. Click on "Load Profile" on the 'Status' tab and select your downloaded profile. Above this button is a drop-down for profile types, refer back to the thread you got your profile from to determine the correct mode to run it as. [Questing is for profiles that do quests, Mixed is for PvP and a Grinding profile, Grinding is just grinding.]
7. Click on "Bot Settings" and you can change them to your liking. Make sure you read the thread that your profile is on to make sure it doesn't request specific settings.
8. Now go to 'General Settings' at the top and hit the 'Select Mesh Folder' button. Direct it to the 'Meshs' folder I told you to make. [Can be located anywhere, and named anything]
9. In your 'General Settings' tab of Honorbuddy you should enter your food and drink name, tell it to use a mount or not, and so forth. Keep in mind you can download plugins from this forum that can scan for food, drink, and mounts automatically.
10. Optional - Go to the 'Plugins' tab and click on the AutoEquip plugin. Then on the right panel check 'Enabled' and then click 'Select Weight Set' and select your Class / Spec.
