Hi,

How do you connect to WoW to bot and how do you setup that method?

I'm having all sorts of crazy problems right now connecting from a virtual machine created using workstation 9 to a VPS I have brought and quite frankly im getting pissed off that it is so hard to work out.

From a pc running windows 7 x64 currently.

no vm, no vps, why should i need that.

If you're trying to run wow on a vps that's not gonna be easy as wow needs a decent graphics card to be able to run tbh.

Otherwise I don't know it's kinda hard to understand what you are saying.

I have a bit more info since he contacted me first for help

he has Windows 7 installed in VMWARE 9 but dont want to use IP address from ISP, he wants to tunnel to VPS he bought using SSH and use VPS's IP address for playing WOW that is installed on local VMWARE machine

For network isolation. If you dont need it, good. Look like you havent been banned by ip yet. They do it, even without checking anything else. I was getting banned not boted wow starter acccount runned on pc without bot, but on same IP. Its fact, they do it. Rarely, but they do. Another thing is anti flood filters, but its another story. if you log into wow from plenty accounts in short perioid of time from same ip, you will get temporary block. Instant dc message after entering email and password.

Did you try to bridge your default network adapter with the vmware network adapter?

Try this:
Open Network Connections by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking Network and Internet, clicking Network and Sharing Center, and then clicking Manage network connections.

Hold down CTRL and select each network connection that you want to add to the bridge.

Right-click one of the selected network connections, and then click Bridge Connections. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

Source: Create a network bridge

let us know if that fixed it for ya ;)

The connection is bridged fine from the VM to the Computer it is about from the computer out through my normal internet into the VPS then out into wow using the VPS IP- My brain hurts.
