How to tell if permabanned or 72hr?

One of my accounts was banned yesterday, and the email contained some info but not much. My question is there any way to tell if my ban will expire on the 22nd or never?

if you log in and it says Temporarily Suspended I think it's 72 hrs ban, if it says closed it's permanent.

Well when I log in I get a generic "Battle Net Error #202 - This account has been banned, locked or suspended blah blah blah."

oh they changed that then. what if you log in to battle.net?

It lets me log in, but when I click on "account" it says account closed. This happened before though on a previous account when I got a 3 hour suspension. From now on I'm taking every single precaution - VM for every account, V-P-N for every account, ~16 hrs per day. I would rather make 30% less gold than have to spend $50 every week to buy new accounts.

You can check account status at this link: World of Warcraft

It will tell if/when your account will be restored or if it is still in good standing. This is where I check at least and it is usually updated before I get emails.

When mine show past expiration dates that means its a perma ban and it is showing a past infraction date. This is in my experience at least (of 50+ accts banned/appealed). I got emails 6 hours after I was banned so might take time to get yours.

So would you say that the first one is banned for 7 days? I thought max penalty was 72hr.

Max penalty is perma ban. I would guess that's what they gave you (I get this every time, never a warning suspension).

Ended up with a permban on my main account unforunately.
2/3 I appealed were overturned, however
