How To Stop Rend Spamming

According to experiments done by barb pros in the D3 forums, Rend damage does not stack and it does not generate fury. Now I notice that my barb spams rend multiple times in battle to hit the same target/s. This results in my barb losing fury even after I have enabled both Unforgiving and Animosity and having a full Immortal King's 5 set armor on. Without fury, my barbarian crawls.

The ideal way would be to cast Rend only once every 5 seconds and use Whirlwind and Sprint tornadoes as the primary damage dealers and use Rend only as an additional source of Area of Effect damage.

So how do I stop Rend from spamming?

I edited the Barbarian file inside the Abilities folder and changed this line.

(TimeSinceUse(SNOPower.Barbarian_Rend) > 1000

to

(TimeSinceUse(SNOPower.Barbarian_Rend) > 4000

I hope it's the timer in miliseconds so that I've now set it to 5000 ms or 5 seconds. Too bad I can't try it out as D3 servers are down.

Trinity tracks rend stacks, and will use it when the primary target does not have rend, or when 2 or more nearby targets (within range) do not have rend. It does not double-stack rend.

So if there is a target to rend it will be cast. Do you just want to use it "less" ?

Bot sometimes starts to spam Rend every single second-two as Primary weapon instead of WW. He can kicks ONE enemy 5-10 times using Rend (seems to be stupid...). As we all know, it's enought just one time to use Rend for a group of mobs... But Bot doesn't understand this. Yes, I want to reduce Rend utilization by a bot, much more, probably every 5-7 seconds should be good. It's ok time to find a group of mobs and kill them, then go to the next group.
I'm using the latest Trinity and minumum plagins. How it's possible to resolve this issue with Rend?

yes we want to use less spam rend cuz some times rend spam fnish furry.

is not that we want to use it less but the bot sometimes just stands there and spams rend like a retard (as if he is trying to use it as primary weapon as said above ) and doesn't ww at all . just stands in one spot and spams rend continuously .
i've also updated to latest trinity today and now i get that issue with bot just standing for 2-3 seconds "thinking" and doing nothing . i didn't have this issue before - damn i shouldn't have updated
