How to record hotspots???

Sorry guys for a maybe stupid question, but I have spent already few hours trying to find it by myself or to figure it out. But now I can't anymore. Please tell me, how to record hotspots? I know I can generate a hotspot in the developer tools, but I want to generate a path for a fishing profile. I' am back to wow and back to boting after a long break, so maybe something has changed and I didn't noticed that. Please give me a short explanation.

Click Developer Tools, there is a current pos of ur char. Dblclick for sending it to buddy mainframe, and now you can copypaste it.

thanks for your answer, but i figured it out already, I was actually looking for an easier way to klick something while running in game and at the end collect the whole list of spots.
